Doja Cat: Honestly, I wanted my eyes to feel like portals to a frosty dimension. Plus, Pat McGrath’s gloss took it to a cosmic level.
Jimmy: Speaking of Pat, her commitment was evident with those 30,000 red crystals at Paris Fashion Week. How did you manage to sit through that?
Doja Cat: Meditation and snack breaks! It was like being a human disco ball, and who wouldn’t love that?
Jimmy: Tell us more about the eyebrow studs. How did that conversation start with your makeup artist?
Doja Cat: We were exploring futuristic themes. I said, “What if we just ditched the brows?” And the eyebrow studs with a punk vibe just clicked.
Jimmy: Fast forward to your Avatar-inspired glam. Otherworldly doesn’t quite cover it. Did you feel more alien than artist?
Doja Cat: Ha! I felt like an artist recreating some alien art. It’s about invoking imagination without boundaries.
Jimmy: The chrome tears at the Met Gala were haunting. Why tears?
Doja Cat: Tears are raw and show vulnerability, which contrasts with the metallic, immortal vibe. Plus, it’s pretty dramatic, right?
Jimmy: Your 90’s brows make a bold statement. How do you balance fun and nostalgia without it feeling like a throwback?
Doja Cat: It’s about reinventing iconic looks with modern artistry. Nineties brows but with 2020s edge.

Doja Cat: They were a tribute to fashion designer Dilara Findikoglu. Temporary tattoos make for perfect impermanent rebellion.
